What is Hopper's Free Hotel Nights?

Canada Rewards is our loyalty program for Canadian customers. Within the program, we reward you with a free night after completing 8 nights of hotel stays booked on Hopper.

How does the program work?

Book hotel stays on Hopper and earn 1 punch for every night you stay. After you've completed your 8th night stay, we'll reward you with a voucher towards a free night.

How can I track my progress?

You can find your Hotel Nights punch card on the homescreen and in your Hopper wallet (accessible at the top of the homescreen). Your punch card will tell you how many pending and confirmed punches you have.

When do I earn punches?

You earn a pending punch after making a booking and a confirmed punch 48 hours after you’ve stayed the night. A pending punch will be marked with a gray checkmark, and a confirmed punch with a green checkmark.

How is the value of my reward calculated?

You will be rewarded with a voucher after each 8 nights stayed. The voucher’s value is the average cost of your 8 completed nights, excluding any discounts you’ve applied (and including taxes and fees). For example, if you stay 8 nights that cost an average of CA$150 (after discounts and including taxes and fees), your voucher will be worth CA$150.

When do I get my free night voucher?

Your free night voucher will appear in your Hopper wallet 48 hours after you’ve completed your 8th night stay.

How can I use my free night voucher?

You can redeem your free night voucher like any other voucher in the Hopper app. It's redeemable on all prepaid hotel bookings, up to the cost of the pay-now portion of the booking. For example, if you're booking a CA$500 hotel stay, of which CA$350 is due at booking (and CA$150 at checkout), you can redeem a free night voucher up to CA$350. Note that vouchers cannot be split, and any remaining amount of the voucher will be forfeited.

Can free night vouchers be stacked?

You can't stack free night vouchers. You can only redeem one free night per hotel booking.

What happens if I cancel a hotel booking?

If you cancel a hotel booking, your pending punches from that booking will be removed from your punch card.

Is there a limit to how many free night vouchers I can earn?

There is no limit to how many free night vouchers you can earn. The more you book on Hopper, the more free nights you'll earn!
